Care and health
personal contribution
In short and in plain language
The personal contribution is the part of the costs that you pay yourself.
It covers costs for care, a place to live or support. The long-term care insurance does not pay this part.
A page about costs can explain the term. It does not have to name amounts for a single case.
Definition
The part of the costs for care, accommodation or support that is not covered by long-term care insurance and is paid privately. A costs page can explain the term without stating amounts for an individual case.
