Many care services invest in a website once and then barely look after it. The result: outdated job postings, expired certificates, security gaps due to missing updates and content that no longer matches reality. A website that is not maintained loses trust, visibility and impact over time, precisely where it matters: in winning clients and winning care professionals. Our maintenance ensures your website permanently delivers what it was built for.
Three Maintenance Tiers — One Clear Monthly Price
Why Care Service Websites Need Continuous Care
A care service website is constantly in motion, even if that is not obvious at first glance. Positions are filled and new ones advertised, services change, new locations are added, legal requirements continue to evolve. At the same time, the technology ages in the background: the content management system receives updates, security vulnerabilities become known, certificates expire. Anyone who does not keep up here regularly risks both the function and the security of the website. Which tasks fall due at which intervals is set out in our guide to website maintenance for care services; why loading time also belongs on the checklist is shown in our article on Core Web Vitals.
The topic is particularly critical in a care context, because your website processes sensitive contact and application data. Outdated software is one of the most common gateways for attacks. Our maintenance therefore combines technical care with data protection for sensitive data, so that both remain up to date over the long term. This keeps your website not only attractive but also robust and trustworthy.
Our Maintenance Services at a Glance
We see maintenance as all-round support, not as the occasional update. The following services form the core of our maintenance for care service websites. Depending on your needs, we combine them into a package that fits the size, ambition and budget of your care service.
Updates and care
Regular updates of the content management system, extensions and server software. This keeps your website functional, compatible and free of known vulnerabilities.
Security and hardening
Monitoring for known security vulnerabilities, configuration hardening and protection of login and form pages against automated attacks on your care website.
Backups and recovery
Regular, encrypted backups with tested recovery. Should anything go wrong, your website can be restored quickly and completely.
Keeping job postings current
We add new vacancies and remove filled positions. This way you always present applicants with a current, credible picture of your care service.
Availability and monitoring
Monitoring the reachability of your website. If the site goes down or responds slowly, we are notified and can react promptly.
Content care
Updating texts, services, team pages and contact details. We handle small content changes for you, without you having to learn the technology.
What runs in the background for you, continuously
Apply updates
System, extensions and server software stay on a current, compatible footing, tested before being applied.
Harden security
Login and form pages are protected against automated attacks, and security advisories are tracked continuously.
Keep an eye on speed
Loading times are observed and optimised where needed, so the site stays smooth on mobile too.
Maintain job postings
New positions are added promptly and filled ones removed, keeping the careers page credible.
Keep content current
Team, services, opening hours and contact channels are adjusted on request, with no technical effort for you.
Test backups
Encrypted backups run regularly and are checked for recoverability, not just created.
Maintaining Job Postings Means Winning Staff
The shortage of skilled workers is the biggest concern of almost every care service. A careers page only helps if it is current. Nothing deters a job-seeking care professional more than a vacancy that has been online unchanged for months, or an application that leads nowhere. Outdated or already-filled positions create the impression that no one at the employer cares, a fatal signal in a market where applicants have the choice.
That is why ongoing care of job postings is a central part of our maintenance. We add new positions quickly, highlight them attractively and remove filled ones promptly. On request, we emphasise particularly urgent positions or supplement them with the arguments that distinguish your care service as an employer. This keeps your careers page a living recruiting instrument rather than a digital shop window with a dusty display.
Currency Is Credibility
Ready for your care website to be reliably maintained at last?
We assess the current status, whether the site came from us or not, and propose suitable support from 49 € per month.
Security as an Ongoing Task
Security is not a state you establish once, but a process that demands continuous attention. New vulnerabilities in widely used software become known every day. Without regular updates, an initially secure website becomes vulnerable over time. Because your care website processes sensitive contact and application data, this aspect carries special weight. Our maintenance therefore includes a tiered security concept that keeps the software current and responds to suspicious activity.
Certificates and encryption
We keep an eye on the validity of your SSL certificates and ensure automatic renewal. This keeps the encrypted transmission of form data seamlessly assured.
Vulnerability monitoring
We track security advisories for the software you use and apply security-relevant updates promptly, after prior testing in a staging environment.
Attack protection
Protective measures against automated attacks on login and form pages, such as limiting login attempts and filtering suspicious requests.
Emergency recovery
In the event of an incident, we fall back on current backups and restore the operation of your website as quickly as possible, with clear procedures instead of improvisation.
Availability: Reachable When It Matters
Monitored around the clock, fixed before anyone notices
Care is often sought at short notice and in stressful moments. When a relative has to quickly organise home support after a hospital stay, your website must not fail. A care professional searching for a new job late in the evening should also be able to reach your careers page. We monitor the availability of your website and are notified as soon as it is unreachable or responds unusually slowly. This allows us to react before potential clients or applicants give up on an unreachable page.
Availability also includes speed. A slow website is quickly abandoned, especially by older users and on mobile devices. As part of maintenance, we keep an eye on loading times, optimise where needed and ensure that your website remains smooth even under load and on slower connections. This also pays into your local findability and accessibility, because both benefit from a fast, cleanly structured site. This continuous attention to availability and speed is a key difference from a website that is built once and then left to itself.
Content That Grows With You
A care service changes: new employees join the team, the range of services expands, opening hours or contact channels change. A website that does not reflect these changes loses credibility. As part of maintenance, we take over the ongoing content care, so that your website always shows the current picture of your care service, without you having to learn the technical operation. If a new form of provision is added, we extend the matching page; our industry overview gives you the full picture. The results of the quality inspection are also content that has to stay current — see showing the 2026 quality inspection on your site.
Just let us know briefly, and we implement it
Care without a technical hurdle
You report a change, we handle the implementation. Whether a new team colleague, a changed opening hour or an additional care offering: we make small adjustments swiftly, so your website always matches the reality of your care service.
- Short change requests by email or phone
- Implemented by us, with no onboarding
- Training on request if you want to maintain it yourself
- Updating service descriptions and care offerings
- Maintaining the team page when there are personnel changes
- Adjusting contact details, opening hours and service areas
- Adding news, campaigns or seasonal notices
- Updating legal information such as the imprint and privacy policy
- Optimising existing content for local discoverability
If you would like to maintain certain content yourself, we are happy to train you in using the system and assist you with any questions. Many care services, however, particularly value not having to look after the website themselves and being able to simply pass short change requests on to us. This relief is part of our understanding of maintenance: you focus on caring for your clients, we look after caring for your website.
Maintenance Packages: Basic, Business and Premium
Every care service is different. A small home care service has different requirements than a residential facility with several locations and a high demand for staff. That is why we bundle maintenance into three clear monthly tiers, Basic, Business and Premium, and tailor the scope within the chosen tier to your needs. This way you know the price from the start and only pay for what your care website actually needs. In a free initial consultation we clarify which tier suits you; an overview of all building blocks is in our services overview.

- 4
At intervals: exchange and report
At agreed intervals, we report on completed work and discuss how your website should grow along with your care service.
How the Collaboration Works
Stocktaking
We analyse your existing website: technology used, currency, security situation and care needs. This also applies if the site did not originally come from us.
Suitable package
Based on the stocktaking, we recommend the right tier, Basic, Business or Premium, and set out the scope of services transparently in the maintenance quote.
Takeover and safeguarding
We set up monitoring, backups and update routines and first ensure that your website is on a secure, current footing.
Ongoing operation
In day-to-day work, we maintain updates, content and job postings, monitor availability and respond to your change requests.
Regular exchange
At agreed intervals, we report on completed work and discuss upcoming topics, so that your website grows along with your care service.
Even If the Website Did Not Come From Us
Many care services come to us because their previous agency is no longer reachable or because the website has not been updated for years. We can take over maintenance in such cases too. First we get an overview of the technology used and the condition of the website. Then we bring it to a secure, current footing and take over the ongoing care. Should the existing technology prove no longer viable, we advise you honestly on the options, from targeted improvements to a new care website.
Transparency is important to us here: we do not conceal any problems and do not push anyone into an expensive redevelopment that is not necessary. Often an existing website can be secured and restored to a maintained state with manageable effort. Only when the technology is fundamentally outdated or security can no longer be ensured do we recommend a rebuild. This honest advice is part of our understanding of a long-term partnership.
