In short and in plain language
The DSA is a regulation of the European Union. It is about digital services.

Definition
The Digital Services Act is a European Union regulation, called Gesetz über digitale Dienste in German; in Germany, it is supplemented by the Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz (DDG). It sets duties for hosting services and online platforms, such as a notice mechanism for illegal content and an internal complaint-handling system. A care service that wants to report an unlawful review on an employer review portal can rely on it.
