Website & design

The website of a care service is used by people who rarely have time and often have worries. This category collects articles on structure and design: a clear page architecture, plain language instead of jargon, readable font sizes and contrast, simple ways to get in touch, forms that work on a smartphone, and images that show real everyday work. We also cover relaunches: when a new website is worthwhile, what carries over, how findability is preserved. Added to this are notes on day-to-day upkeep — who updates content, how vacancies and capacity stay current and which templates save time. We also address images: what may be shown with consent and how to organise photography without staged stock motifs.
