RDG

Abbreviation for Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz

In short and in plain language

The RDG is a German law on legal advice.

It says who may give such advice to others.

Sometimes it is allowed as a small part of other work.

A care firm can give general facts on its site. Advice on a single case is not the same.

Definition
The RDG is the German Legal Services Act. It governs who may provide legal services outside court, for example as an ancillary service to another activity. For care services it draws a line between general information on the website and legal advice in an individual case.
